Drive axles, removing and installing

Removing
-

Pry hub cap off disc wheel; if necessary pull off using suction cup -3208-.

-

Loosen collared bolt -arrow- only 90°, otherwise wheel bearing will be damaged.

WARNING!:  Vehicle must be standing on its wheels when loosening and tightening collared bolt.

-Danger of accident-

Remove wheel.

-

Secure brake disc with wheel bolt.

-

Unscrew collared bolt.

-

Remove coil spring.

-

Unscrew shield -2-.

-

Unscrew drive axle from flange shaft/transmission -1-.

-

Lift trapezoidal link by hand until drive axle can be pulled forward and out of flange shaft/transmission.
