Separate exhaust system at clamp -1-

Unscrew heat shield for drive shaft from cover of Torsion differential arrows-.

-

Unscrew drive shaft from transmission.
Drive shaft, removing and installing.

-

Re-insert speed nut -arrow- slightly and secure drive shaft to stud with wire.

-

Place drip tray VAG 1306 below cap.

Note:  Oil escapes when cap -B- is taken off

-

Remove circlip -A-.

-

Install an M8 bolt into threaded hole of cap.

-

Remove cap by means of bolt.
