Remove gearshift linkage -arrow A-.

-

Unscrew hex socket head bolt of push rod -arrow B-.

-

Swivel gear shift housing with selector rod and push rod down and remove.

Installing 

Install in reverse order.

Push on gearshift linkage until bolt is located in counterbore of selector shaft.

-

Then screw selector rod firmly in place (arrow -A-).

-

Screw push rod securely to transmission (arrow -B-).

-

Install heat shield -3- above exhaust system -arrows-.

-

Screw drive shaft -2- to transmission.
Drive shaft, removing and installing.

-

Secure clamp(s) -1-.
