Speedometer Sensor and Drive Wheel, Removing and Installing

Speedometer sensor and drive wheel, removing and installing

Transmission installed

-

Observe general repair instructions.

Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22-, removing and installing 
Removing 

-

Pull connector off sensor -A-.

-

Press retaining clip down, turn sensor sideways and pull out upward.

Installing 

-

Replace O-ring -B- during installation.

-

Insert sensor and click into place.

-

Handle sensor carefully. If damaged it is possible that speedometer will not be accurate.
