2. Pull straight up to remove backrest trim panel.

3. If necessary, remove (break) second lower retaining clip from clip base by bending clip (Figure 3).

NOTE:  Lower retaining clips must be replaced in pairs.

4. Apply 2 felt strips (included in repair kit) to lower retaining clip mountings (Figure 4).

5. Install replacement lower retaining clips (included in repair kit) in clip base.

6. Reinstall backrest trim panel.
