Remove bolts - 1 - (3x). Tightening torque 3 Nm

Remove trim - 2 - for instrument panel.

Removing instrument panel mountings drivers side.

Remove bolts - 1 - (2x) Tightening torque 4 Nm

 
Removing upper steering column switch trim

Drivers airbag unit and steering wheel removed

-

Pull steering column out and downward as far as possible.

-

Remove bolts - 1 - (2x). Tightening torque 3 Nm

-

Remove Torx bolts - 3 - with screwdriver T8 T40056. Tightening torque 0.6 Nm

-

Unclip surround from instrument panel downward - arrow -.

-

Remove upper steering column switch trim - 2 -.
