Front Axle Toe, Adjusting

Front axle toe, adjusting

Loosen lock nut - B -.

-

Adjust toe setting at left and right wheels via hex flats - A -.
Make sure that rubber boots are not twisted after turning tie rods.

Note:

Twisted rubber boots wear out quickly.

Tighten lock nut - B - and check toe setting again.
The setting may change slightly after tightening lock nut - B -.
The adjustment is correct if the measured toe value is still inside the tolerance.
