Check for open circuit, short to positive, or short to ground (GND) in following wiring connections:
Connector terminal
Test box V.A.G 1598/31 Socket

Repair any open/short circuit as necessary.

Additionally check all wires for short to one another.
If the wiring is OK:

Replace Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor -G70-.
