Fuel Filter, Removing And Installing (Vehicles With 1.8L Turbo Engine)
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Drip tray
Removing
-
Remove right cover next to fuel tank - arrows -.

Place the drip tray under the fuel filter.
CAUTION: The fuel system is under pressure. Before opening system, place rags around the connection area. Then release pressure by carefully
loosening the connection.

Disconnect following fuel lines at fuel filter:
1. Return line
2. Supply line from fuel tank
3. Supply line to engine
4. Ventilation line

Remove bolts -5-.
-
Remove fuel filter.
NOTE: Shown in illustration on a vehicle with all wheel drive. Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
