Installed position / check requirements

After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a bare area of chassis using Ohm meter

Specified value: approx. 0 Ohm

To remove, press release ring on EVAP canister

Installation position of Ground (GND) connection 

-

Route Ground (GND) connection as shown in figure.

-

First, hook Ground (GND) contact -1- connection into securing hole on fuel tank -5- and then press in spacer bushing -2-

Make sure connector of Ground (GND) connection -4- fits securely at metal ring -3- of fuel filler tube.

CAUTION: After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter:

Specification: approx. 0 Ohm.
