Affected Vehicles

01 MIL on (DTCs for misfire, P0300 - P0312)

Condition

-

The MIL is flashing or constantly illuminated.

DTCs for misfire in one or more cylinders (P0300 to P0312, depending on the engine) are stored in the ECM data memory.

Technical Background

The misfire condition can be caused by the ingress of moisture in the ignition coils.

Production Solution

A new generation of ignition coils (supplier Powertrain Pulse ERA) are being installed in production.
