Disconnect electrical harness connector at clutch vacuum vent valve switch -1-.

Connect multimeter between terminal 2 and 3 for resistance measurement.
Specified value: approx. 0 Ohms

Depress clutch pedal.
Specified value: Infinite Ohms (no continuity)
If specified values are obtained:
Checking voltage supply
Harness connector Terminal
Measure to
3
Chassis Ground (GND)
-
Switch ignition on.
-
LED must light up.
-
Switch ignition off.
If LED does not light up:
-
Check the wire connection for open circuit.
