Work procedure

Note:

Observe rules for cleanliness when working on automatic transmission.

Before installing a replacement transmission, always blow into ATF cooler and ATF lines with compressed air (maximum 10 bar).

Before installing a replacement transmission, always replace auxiliary ATF filter.

Note:  
^

If extremely dirty ATF flows out when blowing with compressed air, ATF cooler and ATF lines must also be flushed with clean ATF.
