Remove bolts - 1 to 6 - to remove front crossmember for vehicle floor.

Illustration shows vehicle with 4-Cyl. engine.

Note:

The flex pipe in the front exhaust pipe must not be bent more than 10°, otherwise it can be damaged.

Disconnect exhaust system at double clamp - arrows -.

Remove heat shield below shift mechanism.

-

Remove lower cover from shift mechanism - arrows -.

-

Remove selector lever cable boot from lower cover and slide back.
