Valve Body: Service and Repair

Hydraulic control assembly, removing and installing, 01J, CVT A/T FWD

Note:

Observe rules for cleanliness when working on automatic transmission.

General repair notes.

-

Always replace soiled or malfunctioning hydraulic control module.

Removing

-

Remove Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217.

-

Pull slider for selector lever position -C- downward out of bearing hole of hydraulic control assembly. 

-

Unhook spring -A- from selector shaft -D-.

-

Remove bolts -arrows- and remove hydraulic control assembly.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
