First remove bolts -1- and -2-, then bolts -3- and -4-.

Release slowly the rear cross member using VAG1383A engine/transmission jack.
^
Set aside VAG1383A engine/transmission jack.
^
Remove nuts (arrows) and rear cross member.
^
Remove heat shield -1- for right drive axle. - Remove right drive axle.
^
Remove bracket for front exhaust pipe (arrows).
^
Unbolt bracket for ATF-lines (arrow).
