Steering Wheel (Standard Steering Wheel), Removing And Installing

Torx bolts (T 30) (2x)
-

Tightening torque 7 Nm.

Steering wheel
-

Removing
- Remove airbag unit (standard steering wheel).
- Center steering wheel (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Unscrew bolt -7-.
- Disconnect connector for coil -3-.
- Heated steering wheel: Detach steering wheel heating connector -8-.
- Remove steering wheel -2-.

Installing
- Installation is in reverse order.
- Ensure that connector and catch engage fully (i.e. audibly).
- Attach steering wheel in center position (wheels straight ahead).
- Replace bolt -7- and tighten to 50 Nm.
