Tripod joint AAR 3300 i, assembling

Installation
-

Slide new CV boot onto shaft.

Press on securing ring -1- up to center of splines

Use special tools shown in illustration.
Instead of using T10065/2 special tool, T10065/3 special tool must be used, depending on the version.

Press tripod star onto drive axle 
Chamfer on star faces toward shaft, it facilitates assembly.

Place tripod connections on shaft according to markings and drive fully on.

This procedure is only valid for drive axles with a conical shape at the end (arrow)

Use special tools shown in illustration.
T10065/2 special tool must not protrude on roller body
This procedure is only valid for drive axles with a cylindrical shape at the end (arrow)

Use special tools shown in illustration.
T10065/3 special tool must not protrude on roller body

Press tripod star onto drive axle.

Securing ring must engage audibly, tripod star must contact securing ring gap-free.
