| q | Removing: |
| – | Disconnect and unclip tubing for windscreen washer system. |
Note| A second mechanic is required to support and lift off the bonnet. |
| – | Detach gas-filled strut → Item from bonnet → Item → Chapter. |
| – | Unscrew nuts → Item. |
| – | Detach bonnet. |
| q | Install in reverse order. |
| q | Adjusting: |
| – | Align bonnet → Item between wings. |
| – | Bonnet height is adjusted by way of bonnet lock → Chapter. |
| – | Bonnet can be adjusted with respect to wings by means of buffer stops → Fig. |
| 2 - | Bonnet hinge |
| q | Bonnet → Item must be removed or reliably supported. |
| q | To remove, unscrew bolts → Item and nuts → Item. |
| 3 - | Bolt |
| q | 21 Nm |
