Removing and installing control motors for lumbar support adjustment - vehicles from model year 2006 onwards
1 - Backrest padding
2 - Lumbar support
3 - Clamp
4 - Frame for lumbar support
5 - Control motor for lumbar support
t  Removing
  Note
When renewing the control motor the lumbar support must not be in an end stop position.
–  Remove backrest cover panel → Chapter.
–  Unplug electrical connector → Fig..
–  Release retaining bracket and take control motor out downwards → Fig..
t  Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, note the following:
–  The control motor can only be installed in one position.
6 - Centring pin
For centralising lumbar support in lumbar support frame
7 - Rivet
8 - Plastic washer
9 - Control motor for lumbar support height adjustment
t  Removing
  Note
When renewing the control motor the lumbar support must not be in an end stop position.
–  Remove backrest cover panel → Chapter.
–  Unplug electrical connector → Fig..
–  Release retaining bracket and lift out control motor → Fig..
t  Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, note the following:
–  The control motor can only be installed in one position.
10 - Fastening strips

   
Unplugging electrical connector and releasing retaining bracket at control motor
  Note
When renewing the control motor the lumbar support must not be in an end stop position.
–  Unplug electrical connector -4-.
–  Release retaining bracket -3- using a screwdriver -2- and take out control motor -1-.
