• ‒ Removing windscreen .
• ‒ → Drill off rivets -2- (3x) to remove holders -4- for weather-strip.
• ‒ Use special tool V.A.G 1617 B to fit rivets.

Note:

If paintwork is damaged when drilling off rivet, make good the paint coating as specified in the vehicle paintwork Workshop Manual and apply corrosion protection if necessary as described in the "Surface Treatment/Chemical Materials" binder.
