• ‒ When re-using an undamaged window, shortly before installing, smooth down adhesive sealant residue on the window pane and window flange with a carpet knife. Under no circumstances remove completely.
• ‒ Remaining material serves as a bonding surface for the new adhesive sealant when it is applied.
• ‒ Keep bonding surfaces clean and free from grease.

Note:

It is recommended to use adhesive sealing material DH 009 100 03 (small cartridge) for bonding on a single window or D 004 300 05 (2-component adhesive) for more than one window.

• ‒ Insert window in opening and fix in position with adhesive tape.
• ‒ Secure moulding to C-pillar with hollow rivet.

• ‒ → Apply adhesive sealant centrally all round residual material on window.
• ‒ Dimension -a- = 12 mm
• ‒ Dimension -b- = 8 mm

Note:

The height of the adhesive bead should be reduced by the height of the remaining residue on the window and the flange.
