General Body Assembly
Servicing sliding/tilting sunroof
Removing and installing sunroof motor
 
A60-0008
  • ‒ → Unclip trim from cover in direction of arrow and detach.
 
A60-0009
  • ‒ → Unscrew bolts -arrows- and detach cover.
  • ‒ On installation, tighten to 3.5 Nm.
  • ‒ Removing left/right, and centre sun visors.

=> General Body Assembly; Repair group 70; Trims

  • ‒ Removing left/right pull down handles.

=> General Body Assembly; Repair group 70; Trims

  • ‒ Removing left/right B-pillar trim.

=> General Body Assembly; Repair group 70; Trims

  • ‒ Pull down moulded headliner at front.
Important
Sunroof motor is only to be removed and installed with roof closed, i.e. only in zero setting of cable-operated mechanism and sunroof motor.
 
A60-0010
  • ‒ Detach electrical connectors.
  • ‒ → Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove sunroof motor.
  • ‒ Use new bolts when installing, and clean threads before installation with a tap.
  • ‒ Tighten bolts to 3.5 + 0.5 Nm.
