• Backrest frame
• Backrest motor with gear unit

• ◆ Removing
• ‒ Raise seat as far as possible.
• ‒ Remove seat
• ‒ Remove fitting panels => Page 72-94
• ‒ Remove upholstery from backrest => Page 74-16

• ‒ Use a screwdriver to lever off securing washer -4- on backrest motor side (illustration -B-).
• ‒ Pull shaft out of backrest frame -1-, until backrest motor -2-, can be pulled out.
• ‒ Use side-cutting pliers to cut through cable ties at cable of backrest motor.
• ‒ Detach connector -8-.
• ‒ Detach bolt for backrest motor -5- from welded-on threaded bush -6-
• ‒ Remove backrest motor -2-.

• ◆ Installing
• ‒ Push shaft -3- through backrest -2- and backrest frame -1-.
• ‒ Fasten backrest motor -2- between two plastic washers -7- to threaded bush -6- with bolt -5-.
• ‒ Drive securing washer -4- onto shaft -3-.
