Removing

• ‒ → Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.

• ‒ → Loosen hose clips -arrows- and disconnect crankshaft breather hoses on pressure control valve.

• ‒ → Pull off covers -7-.
• ‒ Loosen nuts -6- on cylinder head cover.
• ‒ Remove plate washer -5- and top sealing washer -4-.
• ‒ Remove cylinder head cover -3-.
• ‒ Detach gasket -2- and bottom sealing cone -1-.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

Note:

Replace cylinder head cover gasket, top sealing washer and sealing cone if damaged.

• ‒ → Carefully apply a small amount of sealant "D 454 A2" to both sides of sealing surfaces between bearing cap and cylinder head -arrows- using a small screwdriver.

• ‒ → Carefully apply a small amount of sealant "D 454 300 A2" to both sides of sealing surfaces -arrows- using a small screwdriver.
• ‒ Fit cylinder head cover with parts.
