Intake side:

Oil is taken in from oil pump -6- via oil intake opening -8-

Delivery side:

The oil pressure flows from the oil pump -6- through the top part of the oil sump, past the pressure relief valve -7-, oil pressure switch -9-, oil cooler -2-, oil filter-1- to the pressure relief valve -4-.

The pressure relief valve -4- regulates the oil pressure to the engine -5-.

• ● Advantages:
  The oil pressure is controlled according to oil filter and oil cooler. Therefore there is oil pressure at the grease points which is controlled by pressure relief valve -4- or oil pump.

The pressure relief valve -7- is a safety valve and only opens with high speeds and cold engine.
