Motronic self-diagnosis
Connecting test box V.A.G 1598
Notes:
-
◆ The test box must not be connected when performing diagnosis with fault reader V.A.G 1551.
-
◆ The connectors of the Motronic control unit must not be disconnected until 30 seconds after switching off the ignition.
Procedure:
-
‒ Switch off the ignition.
-
‒ Remove the Motronic control unit
-
‒ Connect adapter cable V.A.G 1598/19 between the Motronic control unit and the engine wiring harness
