A - Engine installed

• ‒ → Set flywheel to TDC on cylinder no. 1.

B - Engine removed

• ‒ The marking on the vibration damper (belt pulley) should be aligned with the arrow on the toothed belt guard.

• ‒ → The marking on the camshaft sprocket should be aligned with the arrow on the top toothed belt guard.

• ‒ → Position mounting stud of oil pump shaft parallel to the crankshaft.

• ‒ → Position distributor rotor arm so that it points toward the marking for cylinder 1 on the distributor housing.
• ‒ Insert distributor.
• ‒ Before fitting, clean distributor cap and check for cracks and signs of tracking, renew if necessary.
• ‒ Testing and adjusting basic setting of distributor .
