• ‒ Remove engine covers.
• ‒ Remove intake hose between air cleaner and intake silencer.
• ‒ Unplug connectors from all injectors.
• ‒ Pull vacuum hose off fuel pressure regulator.
• ‒ Lay bare wires at fuel manifold.

• ‒ → Unscrew fuel manifold from intake manifold.
• ‒ Pull fuel manifold together with injectors evenly off intake manifold and place it on a clean cloth at the back of the engine compartment.

• ‒ Pull off retainer and detach injector.

Note:

Replacement of fuel manifold involves detaching fuel hoses.

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

• ● Replace the O-rings at all opened connections. (When replacing the front O-ring, make sure not to remove the plastic cap from the injector head. The O-ring must be pulled off over the plastic cap.)
• ● Moisten the O-rings with clean engine oil.
• ● Make sure that the injectors are installed in the correct positions.
• ● Check that the retainer clamps are properly seated.
• ● Position fuel manifold with secured injectors on intake manifold and press evenly into place.
