Removing engine control unit

• ‒ Switch off ignition.

• ‒ → Remove rubber seal from the front -arrow-.
• ‒ Remove plenum chamber cover -1- from the front.
• ‒ Remove cover for electronics box in plenum chamber.

• ‒ → Carefully lever off the retainer bar with a screwdriver -arrow-.
• ‒ Release catches and unplug control unit connectors.

Installing engine control unit

Installation is performed in the reverse sequence.

The following operations must be carried out after installing the engine control unit:

• ‒ Code control unit .
• ‒ Adapt immobiliser to engine control unit

• ‒ On vehicles equipped with cruise control system (CCS): cruise control system must be activated

=> Electrical system; Self-diagnosis of cruise control system (CCS) -diesel engine-; Testing cruise control system (CCS).

• ‒ Perform basic setting on vehicles equipped with automatic gearbox:

=> Automatic gearbox 01N Self-diagnosis; Repair group 01; Performing self-diagnosis; Performing basic setting
