| Fault message “dEF” in trip recorder display |
| If the control unit in the instrument cluster detects a fault in its permanent memory, the letters “dEF” will appear in the trip recorder display. If “dEF” is displayed: |

| The instrument cluster must not be dismantled. |
| t
| All warning and indicator lamps which have conventional bulbs can be renewed individually → Rep. Gr.90. |
| t
| If required, the instrument cluster can be replaced with an exchange unit. |
| t
| Complete the damage report form and return it together with the defective instrument cluster. |
| t
| Defective units must always be returned in their original packaging. |
