t  Windscreen wiper setting tool -3358 B-
Possible causes of wiper blade judder
t  Window scratched.
t  Wiper rubber slipped out of retaining clips or torn.
t  Wiper arm/blade loose or bent.
t  Wiper blades coated with wax or perished (out of shape).
If the rear window wiper blade is juddering and none of the causes listed apply, check and if necessary adjust the angle of the wiper arm before fitting a new wiper blade.

Procedure
–  Switch on ignition.
–  Operate “rear wiper function” and allow wiper arm to move to end position.
–  Switch off ignition and take out ignition key.
–  Remove wiper blade.
–  Insert wiper arm -2- in windscreen wiper setting tool -3358 B- and secure wiper arm with locking screw -3-.
–  Compare indicated angle with specified value.
l  Setting angle: 0  + 2 .
If setting angle is not OK:
–  Apply open-end spanner (24 mm) -item 1- to windscreen wiper setting tool and adjust wiper arm by twisting as required -arrows-.
–  Loosen locking bolt -3- and pull wiper arm -2- out of wiper setting tool.
–  Once again insert wiper arm -2- in windscreen wiper setting tool -3358 B- and secure wiper arm with locking screw -3-.
–  Compare indicated angle with specified value.
–  If necessary, repeat adjusting and checking procedure until specified value is attained.
–  Detach wiper setting tool and fit wiper blade.
