Function
t  The automatic static headlight range control function corrects the angle of the dipped beam at the start of a journey or with the vehicle stationary.
t  One level sender each at the front and rear axle signals the suspension compression status of the vehicle. A signal proportional to the vehicle speed is also processed.
t  The control unit evaluates these signals and actuates the headlight range control motors with dipped beam switched on.
t  If, on interrupting a journey, a load is detected (passengers entering the vehicle) from a change in the compression status of the suspension, the headlights are adjusted automatically to the load condition.
t  Drivers are made aware of system faults by way of a warning symbol in the centre display of the dash panel insert.
