Adaption
The individual functions are called up by way of the appropriate adaption channel number.
The current dash panel insert adaption values can be read out in “measured value blocks 010 … 016”.

  Note
“Adaption channels 03” and “30” are only required if the factory-set adaption value has been altered on account of a customer complaint.
Following successful adaption, the control units using the corresponding data bus are displayed in “measured value blocks 125” and “140”.

Adaption procedure
–  Start dash panel insert self-diagnosis → Chapter.
Display on -VAS 5051B-:
–  From list -1- select function “10 - Adaption”.

Display on -VAS 5051B-:
1 - Enter channel number
–  Enter desired adaption channel on keypad -2- → Anchor and confirm entry by touching Q key.
  Note
After altering an adaption value or exiting from an adaption channel, function “10 - Adaption” must be selected again to choose a different adaption channel.

1 - Channel X reading and testing
2 - Text display for channel selected or no display
4 - Bar set to current adaption value

A - Altering adaption value by way of bar
Display on -VAS 5051B-:
–  Move the bar -5- in the required direction or touch the panel next to the bar, thus causing it to move in the desired direction.
–  Touch the Save key -4-.
  Note
If the Save key does not appear on the display, entries can only be made directly by way of the keypad → Anchor.

–  Confirm the new adaption value by touching the Accept key -3-.
