Adaption channels 60 … 62

Adaption channel 60 - Control units using drive system data bus This function can be used to adapt the control units using the drive system data bus on replacing the dash panel insert. Display on -VAS 5051B-: 1 -  Enter channel number –  On the keypad -2-, touch keys 60 for “Adaption channel 60” and confirm the entry by touching the Q key.

Display on -VAS 5051B-: 1 -  Channel 60 reading and testing 4 -  Bar set to current adaption value   Note t  Following successful adaption, the control units using the drive system data bus are displayed in “measured value block 125” → Anchor. The dash panel insert is not displayed in “measured value block 125”. t  On dash panel insert replacement → Chapter. The control units using the drive system data bus are adapted by way of the following input values:

0	Engine control unit and dash panel insert with immobilizer II
1025	Engine control unit and dash panel insert with immobilizer III
1027	Engine control unit, gearbox control unit and dash panel insert with immobilizer III

–  Alter the adaption value by means of direct entry ⇒ “B - Altering adaption value by means of direct entry” → Anchor. –  Enter the adaption value.

Example:	Engine control unit and dash panel insert with immobilizer III = “1025”
	Keypad entry 1025

Display on -VAS 5051B- following successful adaption. Example: 1 -  Channel 60 value 1025 stored –  Terminate function “10 - Adaption” by touching ← key.

Adaption channel 62 - Control units using display data bus This function can be used to adapt the control units using the display data bus on replacing the dash panel insert. Display on -VAS 5051B-: 1 -  Enter channel number –  On the keypad -2-, touch keys 62 for “Adaption channel 62” and confirm the entry by touching the Q key.

Display on -VAS 5051B-: 1 -  Channel 62 reading and testing 4 -  Bar set to current adaption value   Note t  The adaption value for a new dash panel insert is “0”. t  Following successful adaption, the control units using the communication data bus are displayed in “measured value block 140” → Anchor. The dash panel insert is not displayed in “measured value block 140”. t  On dash panel insert replacement → Chapter. The control units using the display data bus are adapted by way of the following input values:

Display on -VAS 5051B- following successful adaption. Example: 1 -  Channel 62 value 5 stored –  Terminate function “10 - Adaption” by touching ← key.
