Removing and installing aerial amplifier under tailgate lower trim ("symphony" radio) -Avant-

Removing

  • ‒ Remove tailgate lower trim.

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 70; Avant trims; Removing and installing tailgate trim

  • ‒ Release aerial wire and detach connector.

  • ‒ → Detach securing screw -2- (2.5 Nm) and remove aerial amplifier -1-.

Installing:

  • ‒ When installing, ensure that the anti-twist element on the aerial amplifier is inserted in the mounting hole -3-, then perform installation in reverse order.

Note:

The installation procedure for the second aerial amplifier is a mirror image of that for the first amplifier.
