The following procedure is carried out when the telematics SIM card is defective:

• ‒ → Slacken both bolts -arrows- on underside of telematics control unit and remove cover.

Note:

If SIM card is defective, request replacement via fax:

• ◆ Hot line no.: 0800/2 83 47 27
• ◆ Fax no.: 0800/3 29 38 37

• ‒ → Remove the SIM card -arrow- from the telematics control unit.
• ‒ Fill in form for fax -retrieval "Enabling of Audi telematics (fax)" and send off.
• ‒ Insert new already enabled SIM card received in telematics control unit.
• ‒ Destroy old SIM card.
