The navigation system uses the pulses from the ABS sensors to calculate distance.

The "Adaption" function can be used to make and store the following changes:

• ◆ Changes to tyre size
• ◆ Changes of number of pulses from ABS wheel sensors

The individual functions are called up by way of the appropriate adaption channel number (refer to adaption table ).

Adaption table:

Performing function "10 - Adaption"

• ‒ Press keys 1 and 0 to select "Adaption" function.

• ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.

• ‒ Enter desired adaption channel (adaption table => Page 01-73).
• ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.

Note:

After changing adaption value/following termination of an adaption channel, function "10 - Adaption" must be performed again to select a different adaption channel.

Adapting tyre circumference

• ‒ Press keys 0 and 1 to select "Channel 1".

Note:

• ◆ Wrong entries can be corrected by pressing C key.

• ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.

Top line shows selected channel and currently stored tyre circumference in mm.

• ‒ Press ⇒ key.

• ‒ Enter new tyre circumference with a
  0 before the 4-digit number (e.g. 01910).

• ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.

• ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.

• ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.

• ‒ Press ⇒ key.

• ‒ Press keys 0 and 6 to select "End output" function.
• ‒ Press ⇒ key.

Adapting ABS wheel sensors

• ‒ Press keys 0 and 2 to select "Channel 2".

Note:

• ◆ Wrong entries can be corrected by pressing C key.

• ‒ Confirm entry with Q key.

Top line shows selected channel and currently stored number of pulses from ABS wheel sensors.

• ‒ Press ⇒ key.

• ‒ Enter new number of pulses with three zeroes before the 2-digit number (e.g. 00045).
