| t | Removing: |
| – | Remove seat: vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter; vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter. |
| – | Remove side trim (sill side) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove side trim (tunnel side) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove backrest → Chapter. |
| – | Remove bolts -3- (2x). |
| – | Detach bracket -2-. |
| – | Unfasten clip -4-. |

| 4 - | Clip |
| 1 - | Seat cushion extension |
| – | Prise out fastening strips (peripheral) -3-. |
| – | Disengage lug -5- on underside of seat. |
| – | Unplug connector for seat heating -4-. |
| – | Pull out seat cushion extension -1- as far as it will go. |
| – | Unscrew nuts -2- (4x). |
| – | Remove cover and padding. |
| – | On vehicles with ISOFIX retainer and new cover fabric -1-, cut slots in fabric cover at location of ISOFIX retainer → Chapter. |

| Install in reverse order of removal. |
