| t | Removing: |
| – | Remove seat → Chapter. |
| – | Remove side trim (sill side) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove side trim (tunnel side) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove backrest → Chapter. |
| – | Remove drawer → Chapter. |
| – | Remove bolts -3- (2x). |
| – | Detach bracket -2-. |
| – | Unfasten clip -4-. |

| 1 - | Clips (2x) |
| 2 - | Seat cushion extension |
| – | Prise out fastening strips (peripheral) -3-. |
| – | Disengage fastening strips -4- (2x) on underside of seat. |
| – | Unplug connector for seat heating -5-. |
| – | Pull out seat cushion extension -2- as far as it will go. |
| – | Unscrew nuts -6- (4x). |
| – | Prise out seat cushion extension -2- at clips -1- (2x). |
| – | Remove cover and padding. |
| t | Installing: |
| Install in reverse order of removal. |
| – | On vehicles with ISOFIX retainer and new cover fabric -1-, cut slots in fabric cover at location of ISOFIX retainer. |
| 3 - | Fastening strips (peripheral) |
| 4 - | Fastening strips (2x) |
| 5 - | Connector for seat heating |
| 6 - | Nuts (4x) |
