| – | Remove seat: vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter; vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter. |
| – | Remove backrest: vehicles up to 10.2004 → Chapter; vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter. |
| – | Unclip connector for seat heating -2- from retainer. |
| – | Use screwdriver to prise out peripheral plastic strips -3-. |
| – | On vehicles with ISOFIX retainer and new cover fabric -1-, cut slots in fabric cover at location of ISOFIX retainer → Chapter. |

| 4 - | Fastening strips |
| 5 - | Plastic clips |
| q | Renew plastic clips if damaged |
| 6 - | Padding |
| 7 - | Seat heating |
| 8 - | Seat pan |
| 1 - | Seat cushion extension |
| t | Removing: |
| – | Unscrew nuts -2- (4x). |
| – | Remove cover and padding. |
| t | Installing: |
| Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following: |
| – | Always renew plastic clips if damaged. |
