Removing and installing dash panel air duct (left and right)
Removing and installing dash panel air duct (left and right)
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pop rivet pliers -VAS 5072-
Removing
–  Remove dash panel → Chapter.
–  Remove air quality sensor on damaged side.

–  Use sharp knife to sever spot welds -2- (4x) flush with air duct.
  A70-0882
–  Take out damaged air duct.
–  Drill 5 mm hole at each location marked -2- (3x).
Installing
–  Install new air duct, making sure there are no components located in air duct.
–  Fit pop rivets supplied with air duct at locations marked -2- (3x).
–  Screw in bolt -3- supplied with air duct.
Remaining installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
