Note

t	The compressor is driven via a gear wheel and a shaft -B-.

t	Detaching compressor holder from engine/attaching → Engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr.13

t	On vehicles with 8-cyl. engine, detaching compressor involves draining refrigerant circuit and then detaching both refrigerant pipes from compressor → Chapter and → Air conditioner with refrigerant R134a.
