t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- with bracket -VAS 6095/1-5-
t  Workshop hoist -VAS 6100-
t  Lift arm extension (workshop hoist) -VAS 6101-

   
Procedure
l  Engine separated from gearbox.
–  Attach the lifting tackle -2024 A- to engine and workshop hoist -VAS 6100- with lift arm extension (workshop hoist) -VAS 6101- as shown in the illustration.
  Note
To adjust to the centre of gravity of the assembly, the perforated rails of the support hooks must be positioned as shown.
  WARNING
The support hooks and retaining pins on the lifting tackle must be secured with locking pins -arrows-.

Vehicles with manual gearbox or multitronic gearbox:
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- from engine mounting (right-side).
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove engine support (right-side).

All vehicles:
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- from engine mounting (left-side).
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove engine support (left-side).

–  Using bracket -VAS 6095/1-5-, secure engine to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- as shown in the illustration. Tightening torque: 40 Nm.
