Removing and installing horn and dual tone hornH1 - vehicles up to 10.2004
Removing and installing horn and dual tone horn -H1- - vehicles up to 10.2004
Removing
–  Remove appropriate headlight:
t  Halogen headlight → Chapter
t  Halogen headlight - USA vehicles → Chapter
t  Gas-discharge headlight → Chapter
t  Gas-discharge headlight - USA vehicles → Chapter
t  Bi-xenon gas-discharge headlight → Chapter
t  Bi-xenon gas-discharge headlight - USA vehicles → Chapter
–  Pull sender for parking aid (front) out of bumper → Chapter.
–  Disengage wiring harness and move it clear.
   
–  Unplug electrical connector -2-.
–  Unscrew nut -1- and detach horn from retainer.

Illustration shows bumper removed for greater clarity.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install headlight:
t  Halogen headlight → Chapter
t  Halogen headlight - USA vehicles → Chapter
t  Gas-discharge headlight → Chapter
t  Gas-discharge headlight - USA vehicles → Chapter
t  Bi-xenon gas-discharge headlight → Chapter
t  Bi-xenon gas-discharge headlight - USA vehicles → Chapter
