High-level brake light - vehicles up to 10.2004 > < Removing and installing inner rear light (Avant)

Removing and installing bulb for tail light and rear fog light (Avant)
   
Removing and installing bulb for tail light and rear fog light (Avant)
–  Switch off ignition and take out ignition key.
–  Turn light switch to position “0”.
–  Unclip plug -1- from luggage compartment trim -arrow- using a small screwdriver.

–  Unscrew nut -1- and detach retainer bracket.
–  Remove bulb holder -2- from housing (press apart retaining tabs -arrows-).
–  Screw bulb out of bulb holder.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Insert new bulb in bulb holder, taking care not to touch glass bulb with bare hands.
