Removing and installing housing for exterior mirror

Removing

–	Remove mirror glass → Chapter.

Note

Mask the area around the mirror housing with a soft cloth to protect the paintwork.

–	Remove bolts -4- and -5-.

–	Release retaining tabs -3- in direction of -arrow A-.

–	Release retaining clip -1- and detach exterior mirror housing from cover -2--arrows B-.

–	Press mirror adjustment unit down and pull exterior mirror housing up.

–	Unplug electrical connector for turn signal repeater.

–	Detach turn signal repeater from exterior mirror housing → Rep. gr.94.

Installing

l	Tightening torque → Chapter

Install in reverse order of removal.
