Removing and installing interior mirror
Removing and installing interior mirror
When removing and installing the mirror observe the safety regulations → Chapter and the general notes → Chapter.
   
Removing
Equipment version with lane departure warning:
–  Unclip cover (bottom) -1--arrows-.
–  Disengage cover (bottom) using a screwdriver and detach.

–  Unclip cover -1- at mirror base and detach.
  A68-10407
Equipment version without lane departure warning:
–  Prise off cover -1- at bottom of mirror base -arrows-.
  A96-10075
All vehicles (continued):
–  Take electrical connector out of its retainer.
–  Unplug electrical connector -2-.
–  Turn interior mirror at mirror base -1- as far as it will go in anti-clockwise direction -arrow-.
–  Detach interior mirror from retainer.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal; note the following:
–  Position interior mirror at 30° angle to final position.
–  Then turn interior mirror clockwise as far as it will go.
