Checking child seat restraint function for additional child seats (not for driver's seat belt) - country-specific version

To check this function fit the complete belt assembly (including side panel trim).
Activating locking function of retractor mechanism:
t  Pull out belt as far as it will go.
Correct function
t  The belt should retract with an audible clicking sound.
t  Once you stop the belt retracting any further, it should no longer be possible to pull the belt out.
Deactivating
t  Allow the belt to retract as far as the last approx. 100 mm.
t  The locking function of the retractor mechanism should be deactivated at the latest by the time the belt has been retracted as far as the last 100 mm. The belt then functions as "normal" again.
l  If child seat restraint function of seat belt is not operating properly, seat belt must be renewed.
