Attaching roof reinforcement to body - equipment version with sliding sunroof

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Assembly adhesive → Electronic parts catalogue

Procedure

–	Remove moulded headliner → Chapter.

–	Apply adhesive beads -arrow- to roof reinforcement, as shown in illustration.

l	Distance between adhesive beads: Dimension -a- = approx. 90 mm

l	Distance between outer adhesive beads and edge of roof reinforcement: Dimension -b- = approx. 20 mm

–	Position roof reinforcement -1- on roof of body centrally between outer edges and at distance -a- from cross strut -2- of rear edge of roof.

l	Dimension -a- = 15 mm

–	Press roof reinforcement onto roof of body from inside.

–	Install moulded headliner → Chapter.
